Welcome
Michael D Williams studied music at Queens’ College, Cambridge, and went on to a varied career as a teacher, pianist, conductor and composer in Yorkshire, London, Staffordshire and Cheshire. During this period, as well as being the Head of Department at several large high schools, he directed, composed and arranged for choirs, orchestras and theatre productions both in school and in the local community. He has also been widely active as a piano accompanist for vocal and instrumental recitals. He is now a freelance musician, able to spend more time on composition, teaching privately and continuing his work conducting and performing in theatres and concert venues. In 2004, he became the accompanist for the Ellesmere Port Music Society, and was their Musical Director from September 2007 to December 2009. He continues to take part in EPMS events as an accompanist.
His main focus currently is on composition and the revision and publication of works on the internet.
